"ME , MYSELF , and I."

BRIGTHER THAN SUNSHINE from Aqualung

i love this song! a soundtrack from the movie "A lot like love". This song creates a feeling of my soul and makes me cry :(

I never understood before
I never knew what love was for
My heart was broke, my head was sore
What a feeling

Tied up in ancient history
I didnt believe in destiny
I look up you're standing next to me
What a feeling

What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
Brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, i don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine
and it's brighter than sunshine

I never saw it happening
I'd given up and given in
I just couldn't take the hurt again
What a feeling

I didn't have the strength to fight
suddenly you seemed so right
Me and you
What a feeling

What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
It's brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, I don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine

It's brighter than the sun
It's brighter than the sun
It's brighter than the sun, sun, shine.

Love will remain a mystery
But give me your hand and you will see
Your heart is keeping time with me

What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
It's brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, I don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine

I got a feeling in my soul ...

1. What 3 major items /lessons have you learn from this course?
There's a lot of lesson i've learn in ITPRO. One is the MODULE Assignments bcoz it's very useful in office work. Second is the EXCEL assignments, becoz i realize how useful the excel was. And lastly, was the Case study of SUPER. I like the case but maybe it was lack of time for preparation of our team. The case has a big scope, although it was really challenging but accessibility and availability of the groupmates was so hard to organize.
2. what should i continue to do for this course?
I will share all my learnings if ever i'l meet someone who want to study this course. I will encourage them to continue this field becoz the fact that it is very challenging.... "madugo", but very useful for the future. I will also encourange them to be thankful of the professor. :)
3. what do we need to improve on this particular subject?
In this course, all we have to do is to struggle.... try and try until we succeed. Considering also the self-discipline, time management, and fighting-spirit. We are not here to learn more, but to gain something that you can achieve in lifetime.

REACTION PAPER
IT Outsourcing: Maximize Flexibility and Control
By Mary C. Lacity, Leslie P. Willcocks, and
David F. Feeny

In the introduction, Executives states and asked themselves that “which Information Technology function should be outsourced and which should be kept in-house? Is it strategic or commodity?” This is where IT Outsourcing takes place. It should be anticipate and respond to changing business conditions, and to keep a competitive edge in this ever-changing environment.

I believe on the line “there’s no constant in this world but only change” same as on IT, it is unpredictable and uncontrollable cost. Nowadays, IT is one of the most popular areas of outsourcing, it can however involve a range of issues such as software, equipment, premises, people, third party agreement, and so on. That is why, Executives or Managers of a certain IT business should understand the effect on identifying approach whether strategic, commodity, or selective-outsource. They have a big role in decision-making. They should construct a framework design illuminating why such practices worked or not and how does it looks like so that in a long run they can pursue a course that they were able to change. Not only that, the company also should have a good business organization, management, and build analytical framework to meet the objectives in maximizing flexibility and control.

One good example of selective-outsourcing approach was the Energen company. Their managers discussed several things with different points of view in developing its business. The idea on dividing IT operations into two categories, commodity and strategic system was very adoptable and vital. Because IT is unpredictable, maybe sooner or later when the company loss its control and falls down, the risk would be lighter and fifty-fifty of their resources or investment will still kept in-house.

Lastly, outsourcing can be a good way to get something up and running quickly, but the loss of flexibility and control can be limiting.
